The mile long stretch of white sandy beach overlooks Annisquam Lighthouse, has wooded hillsides and large weathered rock formations to walk and water views to see. Dogs are allowed to run leash free before May 1st. Rain /stormy weather cancels. The EMS Paddling School is offering the ACA Coastal Kayak Day Trip Leader's course to AMC paddling leaders and enthusiasts on the Rhode Island coast. Certification requires an additional assessment exam given on June 27 and ACA membership. The course is intended to provide the minimum skills and training necessary for a leader to safely lead a trip on lakes, rivers and other protected coastal environments.
