Dover, Mass An Agent for Positive Change..The Boston Chapter Conservation Committee is a sub-set of interested AMC Boston Chapter members interested in making ourselves useful in the broad area of "conservation." If you're and AMC member, and you get "the MUD" then you're a Boston Chapter member, too! As a local conservation group, the Boston Chapter Conservation Committee has local interests, but isn't organized around any particular piece of property (see the Links page). "Sans turf" the BC-CC has a broader portfolio, and historically has looked at "conservation issues" encompassing land and water conservation including green space; energy conservation; and reduce-reuse-recycling topics. Self organized, "the committee" supports the Club's conservation initiatives, develops initiatives of its own, and hosts educational lectures of interest to the Boston Chapter and others. So if you have some suggestions, or pet peeves, or local heroes you'd like to us to know about, then let us know!
A Committee with a Mission (Statement)Well, we're working on this one... To be sure, it will be short and snappy. Kinda like an "elevator speech" - preferably an elevator speech for a one-story building.
