AMC Boston Bicycle Committee Calendar

Tuesday Evening Ride Series. (Easy/Intermediate)

Series runs mid-May to mid-September, 12-15 mi. mostly in Metro West area. Maps and/or cue sheets provided. Helmet and bike in good condition required. Rain cancels. Dinner at local restaurant often follows ride.

Thursday Evening Ride Series (Intermediate)

Series runs mid-May to mid-September, 18-24 mi., mostly in Metro West area. Maps and/or cue sheets provided. Helmet and bike in good condition required. Riders should be able to fix a flat and complete the ride in about 1.5 hrs. Rain cancels. Dinner at local restaurant often follows ride.

Classification of rides

Leisurely: less that 11 mph average speed
Easy: 11-13 mph average speed
Intermediate: 13-16 mph average speed
Advanced: over 16 mph average speed

Distances and terrain will vary.

Helmets are required on all AMC Boston Chapter rides.
