Wed, December 16, 2009, 6:15pm - Michele Grzenda, AMC leader and naturalist, takes us on her 3-week adventure to the South Island of New Zealand. No spot in the world rivals it for sheer variety of mountain, fjord, river, and beach topography. From the coastal backpack along Abel Tasman National Park to the grand views seen along the Routeburn, Michele's presentation will leave you awe-inspired and ready to jump on a plane for your own kiwi adventure.
In addition to the slideshow, get to know fellow AMCers while enjoying a potluck dinner. Show off your holiday recipes (or your ability to food shop) by bringing a dish to share.
